The Pie Hole returns to the Wiltshire Bridal Boot Sale
Our mouths are watering at the thought of The Pie Hole returning to the Wiltshire Bridal Boot Sale on Sunday 28th September.
We recently caught up with founder Rob, pulling him away from the stove to ask a few quick questions!
The Pie Hole is a fab example of alternative wedding catering - what do you offer couples?
The Pie Hole offers an alternative to the well-trodden path of hog roasts and finger food. We have a selection of pies for the happy couple to choose from and the caravan provides a quirky talking point for your special day.
Rob, we think you might be a bit of a foodie - can you share your favourite eateries in the South?
I've only recently moved down to the South from Bristol; but during my short time here my favourite restaurants are The Pig in Brockenhurst and The Grazing Goat in Portswood, Southampton. I've heard very good things about Hartnett Holder and Co at Lime Wood Hotel but haven't found the time to make it down there yet!
What would be on your dream summer menu?
A pie of course... but maybe an open top pie; it being summer and all. I'm a big fan of duck so a duck and plum pie with a crumble top to add a bit of texture, served with asparagus.
What can visitors to the Wiltshire Bridal Boot Sale expect from The Pie Hole on 28th September?
We will be serving a selection of pies for you to enjoy and we'll be on hand to answer any questions you may have about hiring us for your big day. We look forward to seeing you there!
Be sure to pop by The Pie Hole at The Manor Barn, Sunday 28th September 11am - 2pm to be truely 'Satispied' (a scrumptious mix of chicken, ham, mushroom and leek)!
